As stated earlier, the Texas Labor Code requires that you be provided with information regarding your agency's policies and procedures relating to employment discrimination, including sexual harassment.

If you have not received that information, please consult your agencies human resources (HR) department after you finish this training module, or if you do not have an HR department, the office that oversees complaints.

The information provided by your HR department or management:

  • Should point or take you to the specific location of your entity's EEO/sexual harassment prevention policies and procedures, and
  • May give you an overview of what your entity's policies and procedures cover, and
  • Should provide you with a means to get answers to any questions you may have.
