Logging Into Merlin

• New to Merlin

  • Creating a Merlin Username - Follow the steps listed below:
    1. On the gray horizonal menu bar, click on the "Log In" button. From the home page, you can click on the "Start Session" button.
    2. You will be taken to the User Sign In page. On this page, click the "Merlin" button in the box labeled "Don't have an eRaider?"
    3. The Merlin Sign In dialogue box will appear. In the lower left of this box, select the "No Merlin Account?"
    4. You will be taken to the New User Creation page of Merlin. On this page, you will be prompted to provide the following:
       • Username. If you select a username that already exists, you will be alerted and will need to select a different username.
       • Password (and confirm the password you entered).
       • E-mail address. Please note: The email address you provide here is the primary email address for your application. It will be used to communicate important information to you during the application process.
       • Security Question and Answer. This question and the answer are used if you forget your username or password.
    5. After you enter the information above, click on the "Create User" button. You will receive a confirmation message telling you that your account has been created successfully.
    6. To enter Merlin, click the "Continue" button and you will be logged in.
  • Do you have an active eRaider username? - If you are affiliated with Texas Tech and have an active eRaider username, there is no need for you to create a Merlin username. You can use your eRaider username to login to Merlin. Simply click on the "Log In" button located on the gray horizonal menu bar (or "Start Session" from the home page), and click the "eRaider Sign In" button in the box labeled "eRaider Users".

 

• Returning to Merlin

  • Using My Merlin Username - Follow the steps listed below:
    1. On the gray horizonal menu bar, click on the "Log In" button. From the home page, you can click on the "Start Session" button.
    2. You will be taken to the User Sign In page. On this page, click the "Merlin" button in the box labeled "Don't have an eRaider?"
    3. The "Merlin Sign In" dialogue box will appear. On this page, you will be prompted to provide your Merlin username and password.
    4. After you enter your Merlin username and password, click on the "Sign In" button and you will be logged in.
  • Do you have an active eRaider username? - If you are affiliated with Texas Tech and have an active eRaider username, there is no need for you to create a Merlin username. You can use your eRaider username to login to Merlin. Simply click on the "Log In" button located on the gray horizonal menu bar (or "Start Session" from the home page), and click the "eRaider Sign In" button in the box labeled "eRaider Users".
